This isn't really a quote, but I heard a comedienne from the South joking about how Southern women use the phrase "Well, bless her heart" even when they're being bitchy, as in "Darlene went and got herself knocked up with that idiot boyfriend of hers...well, bless her heart."  Now every time I hear that I have to laugh.
