Favorite thing about Manaus-AM-Brazil?

I love Manaus....anyone out there ever been?

Manaus is just great to go see the amazon. The opera house is the oldest in Brazil and historic. You can go on a boat ride of the amazon and see the meeting of the waters - Rio ***** and the Solimoes. The river fish (tambaki and tucunare) are among the tastiest in the world. Its a great duty free shopping place for all kinds of electronic gizmos. I have been there and I loved it.

Ummm, I'm Brazilian and I have never been there, but I don't like it at all. Too hot, too rainy, too distant from everywhere.

I´m Brazilian and I´ve been there when I was a little girl, but I don´t remember anything, except the hot weather...

Never been there, but I have been to Sao Paolo, practically my whole families from there even though I'm not Brazilian.
