  1. Adelaide Crows. I was extremely happy when Adelaide entered the AFL in 1990. I live in Adelaide and proud to follow the Crows. Simple answer really, but that is it.

  2. I am a Geelong member since 1997, the only GFC member in the USA or Canada. When I found footy on TV in 1982, Hawthorn was the quality team, followed by Carlton and Richmond was dying, KB was retiring.

By 1984, Gaz senior and Billy were the goal kicking machines of the comp and the match of the round in the USA seemed to show Geelong just about every week. I became a fan.

I have been to Oz five times, 30 AFL matches, reserves, under 18's, I have been there.

It is a great game, bad thing is the AFL doesn't market the game to the USA. Now that Darren Bennett, Ben Graham, Mat McBriar and Sav Rocca (I think he will make it) have come from Oz to kick in the NFL, there should be some interest in footy.

I just hope Geelong's handbags do not make it for delivery until after 6 p.m. Melbourne time on Sept. 29.

  3. I go for West Coast because I was brought up on them. My family and stuff all go for them and we live in Perth so it's expected that we barrack for Freo or eagles. Usually we r meant to love 1 and hate the other. when I was younger I just used to watch the eagles games with my dad and all the guys in my family...it was cool playing against them coz no one will tackle a 5 yo girl.

My little cousin used to go for freo, but then peer pressure made him change to eagles, we all tease his dad.

    Johnny is g*y

  4. I go for Carlton. I dont remember why i do, my father went for Kangaroos & my mum didnt care but I have a photo of me when I was bout 5 holding a Carlton teddy so I can say I have gone for em my whole life. Was born in SA (dont wanna be accused of bein vic) but lived in melb from 1 till i was 8. came back to sa but kept my faith with the blues & now I couldnt count how many people say to me "yea I used to go for the  Blues but u gotta support ya state so now I go for the crows(some even changed again afta power joined) " Well Im glad their gone cause we dont need fans like that. Pick ya team stick to them & they will reward with a lifetime of memories, some good, some bad but at least you can hold your head up & say IM LOYAL

  5. The Sydney Swans because they have brilliant players, an inspiring and intelligent coach, a club spirit of courage, honour and loyalty, the greatest city in Australia as their home, the best colours, an awesome team song........and they have Brett Kirk!

  6. The mighty fighty Hawks ! :)

  7. I go for West Coast because they were our first West Australian side and I always said I would barrack for our state team now the Dockers are my second favourite and would like to see them win the Premiership cup.

  8. Carlton

many years ago i went with friends and was drunk Ang Cristou kicked the ball 60 000 went WOOOOOOOOOOF

scared the c**p out of me and been a fan ever since

  9. Essendon Bombers because the players rule

  10. Hawthorn, I've supported them all my life and always will, my dad wasn't too impressed when i picked Hawthorn ..... He's mad keen Geelong. hehehehe

  11. my favourite team is collingwood, dont really have a reason but they have some good young players coming up

  12. I am a Carlton supporter through and through, and the reason being my Nana and grandfather followed the blues then in turn my dad and uncle followed Carlton and when i was born i basically had no choice but too follow the blues,i remember once when i was real young i told dad i was going to go for Essendon,he basically ignored me untill id switched back to the blues, hard i know but i thank him now :)
