Favourite North American state and why?

North Carolina. It's so beautiful. The beaches are fantastic, it's so green and lovely in the spring, and people there know how to make sweet tea much better than they do in the north. =)

I grew up in Western Kentucky, and now live in Missouri, both places are beautiful wonderful places with nice people...

but If I could live anywhere I wanted, it would be in the Smokey Mountains in Eastern Tennessee....

Nova Scotia, Canada.  It's North American, it's a province which equates to a state, and it is my favourite.  Why?  The people are wonderful.  The climate is perfect (same latitude as Monte Carlo).  Everything is cheap.  It;s half the size of England but has a population of less than one million people.  The air is clean.  I could go on.
