Agreed- Barqs seem to take the cake, although A & W isn't too bad with a HUGE scoop of ice cream in it! Have you tried Stewart's yet? They're old fashioned, no funny aftertaste, and are my second choice after Barqs.

I have fond memories of Dad's( brand name) not even sure if you can get it anymore.

Now I drink IBC,  and only really like A&W warm poured over chocolate ice cream.   YUMMM

I like Mug rootbeer. It's by Pepsi brand and is delicious in rootbeer floats.

I think its IBC that I like...the cream soda is the best though. I only like root beer when I have a float! or pregnant! no caffine!

Id say I like Barqs the best. A&W the least. Mug is okay... eh. But My all time FAVORITE [I used to get it from the school vending machines] was FROSTIE it was in a blue can, with a lil gnome like dude on it. YUM!

IBC (in a glass bottle). Something about the glass just makes it taste different. In a very good way.
