Waiting for Godot--Samuel Beckett

always says something different each time you read it as the thing being waited for in your own life is never the same twice.......

Murder in the Cathedral--TS Elliot

excellent for making you think deep thoughts (as Jack Handy would say <<grin>>) watch out for that Third Temptation!

best all time old read novel (If that's what counts as a classic though I'd argue that many modern books could be called classics as well--but that's another topic for another day.....)

So much better than the movie and a rollicking adventure novel!

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. An amazing piece of writing. Truly compelling novel about love in the time of war.

I love Shakespeare. But my favourite classic book isn't of him. Pride and Prejudice of Jane Austen. She was very especial. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book. But I like Romeo and Juliet too. And Hamlet and Otelo too. The classic books are very interesting.!!!
