15 years ago I would have said Cork. Alas it's been filled with ugly, ungreen  poorly planned houses and business.

So now Donegal or Wexford.

Dublin, as i am from there, but also Waterford, Kilkenny, Moville, Galway.. they all have various elements that make them worth the trip for a weekend!

Dublin would have to be my favourite being the base of Ireland for nightlife, shopping and access.

My close second is Galway city for its beauty and amazing scenery.

Being from Co. Down I'd have to say .... Co. Down :)

We have the beautiful Mourne Mountains (soon to be a national park), Downpatrick and errr ... lots more to see.

Co. Galway is probably my second favoruite because of the nightlife, culture and scenery.

My favourite county is Co Westmeath. its centrally located and Its loughs are brilliant for watersports and relaxing.

Athlone is worth going to, the river Shannon runs through it. It has nice restaurants and good sites to see.It s a great place to go as a couple or family. There are caravan parks aswell as b&bs and hotels.

Im from Tyrone.
