  1. Monopoly,by far.

  2. Disney Trivia pursuit

  3. Life. We find it less stressful than Monopoly and takes a lot less time.

  4. We introduce Monopoly "we call it Monotony" to the grandkids this winter and they have all asked for it for Christmas. In the age of computer games.Ipods, Wii's they are like zombies playing these games on their own but having to converse with each other to play a board game they think it is wonderful. We have had this game for 38 years and played with it endlesly with our children, when there was no television ect.

  5. Who Wants to be a Millionnaire DVD - this has both adult and junior questions - my 8 yr old loves playing against grandma, aunts and uncles, etc.

Or, why not buy a dart board.  Everyone can play and it helps improve your maths.

  6. Monopoly

  7. Well Monopoly is good all of the versons.

  8. DVD bingo its good ge it now

  9. If U Have a Playstation 2 Get Buzz The Game Show Or Any Buzz Great Fun For 4 Players

  10. try this its funny with loads of family you have to use paper and pens to guess a word beginning with every letter of the alphabet in set categories,

ie cars , girls names , boys names, animals, countries, and any other you like

so one person is judge and timer set say 10 seconds to each letter,

every one writes down there answers to each letter

at the end swap papers and mark them only unique and verified answers score no made up things.

it becomes a laugh when granny cheats with a made up name from the fifty's,

or an animal that does not exist.

4 gameboys linked up and fight fight fight

    after hour games

    poker

  12. pin the tail on sleeping grandmas head! classic

  13. we normally play monopoly

  14. Our family has the most fun with Cranium and Catchphrase, we also have a great time with Scene IT(Board/DVD guess the Movies game) scrabble is great too and all ages can enjoy any of these games

  15. family version of trivial pursuit..

any of the sceneIt dvd games would work too

  16. I find DVD interactive games are a good bet, however I always found the Scene-It games to be very disappointing. They could have been so much better...

  17. Cranium:

It suits the whole family as there's almost 4 in one games there: word play, general knowledge, modelling & drawing, singing/imitating/charades and so participants can choose their forte! eg my dad never acts :0)

It doesn't last too long & turns into such a joke. Also since it's played in teams of 2, the family pairs up into a more manageable number of teams!

  18. Charades...fun for the whole family.  You can buy a package of cards that give you the words to act out.
