  1. Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.  (south west) - best holiday I have ever had in the UK.

    *SL

  2. LONDON

    CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE

  3. The cotswolds. Would you hate me if i said i liked blackpool too? I love the pleasure beach!

  4. I vote West Wirral - it's not a tourist destination, but if you stayed there you could experience fairly empty beaches, islands in the bay, walks along cliffs with interesting views across Wales, picturesque sandstone cottages in places like Caldy village and West Kirby, two very good golf courses, walks along a promenade, old pubs, some very good restaurants in Hoylake, West Kirby and Heswall and the desolate marshes of Parkgate and Neston.  It's easy to drive to Chester and Wales from there, you could get the train over to Liverpool and be there in half an hour and Derbyshire and Cheshire are close enough for day trips.  A good destination, and probably one which many people don't ever visit.

  5. Where I live, in gorgeous Cornwall!!

I notice Greenorlagh is her nasty English hating self, as per usual!!!

  6. Visit York for a great historic city then travel around the North York moors and west to the dales for great countryside.

  7. Anywhere in the Lake District when the tourists have gone home.

  8. Hi Denise ,

    Some music for you :http://www.tropicalglen.com/Jukebox/YR-1...

    Enjoy .

    Love Americans.

  9. The ISLE OF WIGHT!!! west side!

  10. Keswick in the Lake District.

  11. London

  12. To visit - The Lake District. It's beautiful, and so peaceful.

To live - York or Oxford. I've lived in York for many years and it's one of the best places to be by far. Oxford is very similar to York, we have relatives down there, so we visit often. It's equally as beautiful.

  13. LAKE DISTRICT(GRASMERE & AMBLESIDE)! IT'S HEAVEN ON EARTH- ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING.

  14. Chester is cool.

The town centre is great, old style with a huge old Roman citadel wall where the Romans were based near the river Dee.

You can walk along the promenade and in the Roman amphitheatre, the largest uncovered amphitheatre in the UK, which is cool.

And tea and scones at a cafe on the promenade is a must! :-)

  15. ...any road out of the god forsaken hole.

  16. Well , i like lowestoft.

    It has a theme park.

    A leisure centre.

    & an award winning beach.

In the summer sun Lowestoft is amazing.

& at night the water fountains are beautiful.

Amazing restraunts like Sgt Peppers etc

    A population of 80,000.

But the town isn't usually that busy.

    A Great Town Centre.

    I'd reccomend Lowestoft :)

    Lowestoft.

    East Anglia.

    :)

  17. Dorset, absolutely perfect!!!!

  18. never been in England.

  19. North Cornwall.

Apart from the tourist season the pace of life is slow.

  20. Devon & Cornwall - I hate London - its always so full!
