Favourite restaurant in Melbourne (Australia)?

Preferably in the western suburbs or in the city. Doesnt have to be fancy. As long as they have something yummy. Thanks!

Just outside the city in Fitzroy St (st kilda)  there is the best pizza / pasta place called topolinos. It has been around in the same shop since the 70's. My dad used to go there as a school kid and has taken us there ever since we were born. Its fantastic. A must try.

there's a turkish place thats really good called meze and it's around the east bentleigh area im not sure if thats in the west or not

I'm a big fan of the best and the original, La Porchetta on Rathdown Street in Carlton. It's got great atmosphere and with the prices of the menu, my belly is well satisfied.

la porchetta, kelly's, sofia, smorgies and taco bills.
