The Borussia Monchengladbach has hailed his side after the 2-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt this past weekend.

Lucien Favre admitted that it was a vital win for his side as Eintracht Frankfurt were flying high after a sensational start to the season. He insisted that a victory before the international break was crucial as the team will
return with confidence in their next fixture.

needs to be worked upon.
“This was a vitally important win, especially before the break for internationals. We can live with nine points from seven games, but we all saw that there is still a lot to be done. We're still losing the ball too often,” he was
quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Frankfurt manager admitted that his team was below par on the night and wants the players to step up when they return after the international break. The tactician expressed his disappointment on conceding some
poor goals in the game and blamed some mistakes from the defence for the loss.
“We don't really have a lot to analyse. We played decent football and showed what we can do. We just conceded stupid goals and never took advantage of our superiority. The defeat was unnecessary, though, because we could have got
something,” he concluded.

are second, only behind Bayern Munich on the Bundesliga standings table.
