In the second semi-final of the ongoing Faysal Bank Super 8 domestic T20 tournament in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755, the Karachi Dolphins thrashed a tough Sialkot Stallions side in a high scoring match that was played at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on June 30, 2011.
The match which left cricket fans awestruck was a remarkable display of Twenty20 cricket which exhibited a stiff competition between the batsmen and bowlers, however, in the end the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dolphins-c781 prevailed as they defeated the Stallions by 42-runs.
After winning the toss, Karachi, led by pacer Mohammad Sami, elected to bat first, aiming to put enough runs on the board to rattle the Stallions later in the match.

two batsman bolstered 164-runs for the second wicket partnership as they took the total tally to 183 by 15.2 overs.
However, before the two could take the partnership any further, Ali Khan struck gold when he trapped Raja right in front of the stumps, leaving no doubt in the mind of the umpire, who gave the batsman leg-before wicket. Raja departed after playing a commendable
innings of 97 runs.
On the next delivery, Khan struck again when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khalid-Latif-c71261 was caught by Adeel Malik at third-man. In the 19th over, Karachi lost another wicket and this time it was the left-handed middle-order batsman Fawad Alam, who after scoring 17 runs, was
caught by Shahid Yousuf off a delivery bowled by Sarmad Anwar. At the time for his demise, the Dolphins had posted 220 runs on the board.
