  1. The new avg from what I have read is a virus.  I dont trust anything that is free. I use Norton.

  2. i found 6 trojans on my laptop at the weekend i got rid of them with AVG and i was left with a blue screen. today i removed AVG and got avast it detected another trojan which AVG didn't. best bet is to try avast and do a full scan

  3. hi i had a problem like this yesterday and I Have mcafee anti virus ect and it got through by flashing on the screen claiming to b 2009 anti virus I thought it was an up date 4 mcafee and click on it every thing was blocked so I don't know what is the best.

  4. if you are not happy with AVG, then try either avast or kaspersky. Both are decent, free, and easy to use AV programs.

Also if you want a good cleaner, try combofix

Just follow the guide in the sources section, and it will explain how to use it, and remove the problem. If for some reason combofix doesn't work, use the forum on that website. The forum has users that have vast more experience in fighting malware. They are experts in this field, way beyond what people can provide here on YA!

    I hope this helps.

    Hope this helps.

  5. There is no good free anti virus. Buying one is well worth it.

Also, try using Mozilla Firefox, you may be getting the Trojan Horses online somehow without your knowing. Mozilla does not download items without your permission and scanning first.

  6. Did you run the SuperA scan from safe mode? It is stronger that way.

Next run  a scan with  from Normal mode, this one is stronger this way.

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    Trojan Downloaders

These Trojans (like Trojan Droppers) are used to install malicious code on a victim machine. However, they can be more useful to malware authors. First, Downloaders are much smaller than Droppers. Second, they can be used to download endless new versions of malicious code, adware or ‘pornware’ programs. Like Droppers, Downloaders are also typically written in script languages such as VBS or JavaScript. They also often exploit Microsoft® Internet Explorer vulnerabilities

  7. You need to remove the core , best way to do this

    http://www.avast.com

Download the free home version , install and set to scan when next restart, this will scan the computer before Windows is active, so more chance of removing them .

  8. mcafee or kaspersky they are good also and try one anti-spyware also.something like windows defender or ad-ware .

  9. try a online anti-virus scan...Safety.Live.com that is microsoft's...TrendMicro.com...Symantec.... Kaspersky.com are just a few as for a free av try Avira.com for their personal or Comodo.com they offer a free security suite if you piece together one yourself besure to include anti-spyware Safer-Networking.org or Lavasoft.com or Malwarebytes.org
