Fear of doing a back handspring ?

i take tumbling classes twice a week and just today i was able to do a back handspring by myself 20 times in a row. the weird thing is is that i had a harness on, but my coach wasn't holding it, yet when he took it off and told me to do them, i couldn't ? he says i'm ready. but i'm super scared. i know i can do it and i really want to, but my mind is stopping me. what can i do ??

  1. what i would do is do one back handspring with the harness, and then immediately after that, do one with out. don't even think about. your body knows the motions. once you've done one, the rest will be a breeze. believe in yourself. it's all in your head.


  2. 6 pack strong lager and at least 2 double (insert favourite tipple here, if you don't have one go for cheapest) then you will either do the handspring or give the trainer the back of your hand and see if he says he is ready for that!
