Fear of lightning?

every time i hear thunder and lightning i scream and cry and hide like llast time we had a thunder storm i couldnt breath because i was scared and started having an asthema attack now every time i kno a lighting storm is coming i had in the second level basement with headfones on lisening to calm music as loud as i can i need to try to get over this im 12 now

and dont say go out in a thunder storm my brother did that and i almost killed myself trying to get back in the house

Some people are afraid of lightning into adulthood.  It's nothing to be embarrassed about, but you should just stay away from the windows or go into your basement (if you have one) and wait out the storm.)

As you get older, you will find things that work for you to control your fear.  You are still young, so for now, remember the storm will pass.
