I am currently in high school right now going to grade 12 and am always thinking of what my future is going to be like. I want to become a pharmacist when i grow up but am always fearing that am going to be a nothing in the future. Like fear that i wont pass the test of critical skills for entering pharmacy. Always fearing that i may end up working in KFC or something for the rest of my life. Sometimes i get stress thinking that my future is going to be bad which sometimes makes me cry, i want to be a pharmacist but am always thinking since am going to fail out it, i may as well quit and go for a easier career. Like am taking bio 30, physics 30 , chem 30 and math 30 and always thinking am going to fail this classes and not graduate from high school.

I don't know what to do about my fear of the future, does anyone have a way to solve my problem

  1. Try and focus on what you have to do to get where you want to be. Go talk to your guidance counselor they can give you tips on how to handle your anxiety You need to come to terms with the anxiety now, otherwise you'll be even more out of it in college.

  2. It sounds like you have confidence issues which I think stems from self esteem issues. Your stress also sounds like something that you could do without and that you probably shouldn't even have.

I say this because if you are trying for something like a pharmacist then you must be a smart guy, and the fact that your working torwards that with the classes you need to be taken.

All in all I don't think your fear is horrible because you are at least considering the possibility that it might not work, but I don't suggest you give in at all, just tell yourself that you can do this as long as you try your hardest torwards it.

I believe that you will do fine.
