Question:

Feather razor men's hair?

My boyfriend has hair that is slightly wavy and has a lot of bulk to it. I was wondering if I cut the back of his hair with a feather razor if that would help. I read a few articles saying they are relatively easy to use because they cut off just the right amount of hair. Is this true? And would it make his hair frizzy?

Also, I cut my own hair and usually his so I'm not alien to the idea.

  1. The only thing that is going to "cut off just the right amount of hair" is going to be you.  The feather razor works the same as any other razor, with the exception of having less chance of cutting yourself.  It is a safety razor.  I use the feather razor every day at work and I love it.  It has cut down on my band aid use.If you already know how to cut, the razor might help with his hair.  Just make sure that the blade is sharp, and the hair is wet.  You might want to apply either a cutting lotion, or a small amount of leave in conditioner.  Both help the blade to glide through the hair easier, and will help to keep the hair wet longer.  I usually cut curly hair with the razor, because it does help control the curl.

  2. yes it does give it a lot thinner look but u need a professional to do it,

doing it even slightly wrong can split hair down the middle causing extreme damage.

also it does make hair a bit more frizzy and harder too manage

use a defrizzing shampoo, conditioner and leave in serum
