I am not trying to attack anyone based on their health and or body type, but why is it that when I go out, and wear something that flatters my figure (not being S****y...) i get alot of snide remarks for larger women?

Let me give you some history. I'm in the US Army, I work out twice a day, 5 days a week. I eat 3 BIG full meals everyday, which is to include a my fair share of fast food and oreos. I don't have any eating disorders, and I've had a child.

Ya'll ready for the "weigh in" I stand at 5'7 @ 126 pounds. Most of it being muscle (from running and weight lifting) So....there are my stats..(my son is 2..almost forgot that)

So, maybe someone who is a little on the larger side enlighten me, and tell me why the f*ck these people like to call me anorexic, and a "skinny little s***k" when i'm just getting a flippin milkshake, or dinner at subway! I dont wear tight cloths either...so

w t f...

  1. Jelousy,

  2. We're at th epoint that a woman with a healthy physique is so unusual that many of the other women are jealous.

  3. They're jealous of you.  If you're in the Army, just tell the heifers where they can stick it.  Then kick their butt if they have something else to say about it.

EDIT:  Incidentally men do the same thing when another man dresses well or different.  I usually wear a suit out to clubs and I have a green mohawk.  Men who dress like slobs always point and snicker, but I've found that this particular combination always ensures me of plenty of female company for the night out.  People will always be jealous of someone who is accomplishing what they don't feel they can.

  4. Its just another way to put us down hun (I do not mean men here, both sexes do it)...anorexic not only implies "skinny" but also an emotional problem or weakness though it is not.  Just ignore it and consider the source.

Thank you for serving our country.  My son is in the Army too.

  5. I agree with Corn worrior, it's all about jealousy. I was once at 240 pounds and people gave me h**l about that all the time. As though I enjoyed being overweight. Then come to find out it was a health problem and once I got that taken care of I lost 104 pounds and it was hard at the beginning but got easier day after day.  And now that I am smaller people still give me h**l as though I think I'm a better person than people who are overweight! A healthier person, yes. But a better person, no.

The thing about some people is that no matter what you do, they find a reason to be jealous of you.

  6. Well they are envious of you, but don't put out the effort you do to stay in shape.

  7. Jealousy. Everyone thinks a skinny woman has a disorder and a fat women has no control.

  8. I don't know sweetie.  I get it as well (5ft 100lbs).  I hope I can stay in shape after having kids too.

  9. maybe they're just jealous of your weight and wanna look like you have you ever thought of that??or maybe they think your to small(IN THEIR OPINION)so don't worry about it.

  10. Simple, they are jealous of you.

If you are ever in San Diego, come work out with me! I go to SDSU

  11. for a weight loss solution go to http://losefatx.blogspot.com it has excellent info u r not skinny you are normal your metabolism is very fast maybe that is why

  12. I'm a guy, but honestly, you probably look phenomenal with your stats, so these people who are telling you nonsense aren't worth your time, seriously.  Ignore them for they envy you.

  13. We are JEALOUS cuz WE don't look as good as you--but then we AREN'T willing to do the WORK it takes to look that good!  Enjoy yourself and don't worry what us larger women think  :o)  What WE think is none of YOUR business...LOL

  14. concur with many posters here......JEALOUSY. no doubt about it.

you keep on keepin' on, girl! i am proud of you. dont ever stop being the way you are. i should take lessons from you, and i'm a guy.

  15. I get a similar treatment from overweight men. However , I take it as a compliment. Obviously I am doing something right in the gym, for them to bother trying to put me down. The more they yep, the more I workout. It works out fine.

  16. I get that a lot too. As long as you're not the one looking at someone else in envy, don't sweat it.

  17. That's good for you that you want to lead a healthy life, respect.

If they have a problem with you its their problem so don't worry about it

  18. Eh, don't worry about it.

Jealous people will work to find ANYTHING to make you feel bad to knock you down a peg and make themselves feel better.

    *shrugs*

  19. b cuz ppl are haters. but let em hate. their just mad b cuz they want to look like you dont get mad love your haters i mean after all they are your biggest fans lol but seriously you need haters so just laugh and say GET LIKE ME HA HA

  20. I would assume that they are just jealous. If they would just accept their body the way it was, they wouldn't have to be jealous. Been there, done that. I know two very large woman who wears beautiful dresses  and carries there selves, perfectly. It's all in the attitude that you have. They must be miserable with themselves, and are therefore jealous. Just ignore them. I am fat, and I know it, and I'm comfortable with my own body, and I for one never leer at skinny people. I married one. My husband can eat meals around me, go to bed fat, and wake up skinny, he lost 10 pounds and never ever exercises. Some people just have a high metabolism, while others don't. Enjoy your milkshake, and subway.

  21. If you were secure with yourself your wouldn't care... in other words if you feel you look good what does it matter what other people think?obviously the women who make those kind of remarks have issues and feel bad about themselves...
