Federer won in Estoril so he got more points than Nadal. Also, no points wee given to them in Monte Carlo because both defended their points which they got last year where both also reached the final.

Actually Nadal had 300 points added for this week.  He had 500 points added for winning Monte Carlo, but then 200 were removed since the Barcelona title that he's defending is now over 52 weeks old.  The points for the current week are subtracted at the beginning of the week and new points are added once the week is over, which is why for the next couple of weeks Nadal's points will be going up and down since he has to defend points every week.
