i have written to them four times explaining that I wont to cancel my package as I could not receive there broadband after many many phone calls I gave up and said I wonted to cancel the whole thing, but they say as I had the TV on a 12 month contract that I could not get out of it. I have ask them to check there records to prove I have never been connected to the Internet with them but they say it is a £10 charge, which I will not pay. they have stop-ed the TV but still say I must pay this, this has been going on since April and I am so fed up with it I just don't know what to do next. any ideas?

  1. You have to pay for 12 months of service - they have to provide usable service for 12 months.  I think someone's in breach of contract here, and it's not you.  Ask to speak to their legal department.  A contract in which one party receives nothing of value is [or should be], depending on the law where you live, either void or voidable.

  2. get in touch with ofcom and trading standards

  3. i had the same problem with bt.....it went on for months!!...i was so frustrated i felt like crying....then i went online and found the email address for the ceo of bt...i sent him a message and he got back to me with in an hour ....and within 3 days everything was sorted....my point is go to the top.... i mean the very top.....send them an email...outlining your issues... they will sort it...they cant not be seen to be doing something...... there is a website with all the email addresses of the top people of lots of companies... good luck....
