FedEx Home Delivery - Do they ship on Saturdays?

Does FedEx Home Delivery deliver on Saturdays?

I have a package that I haven't been able to to retrieve for 2 days now and the last attempt should be today (Saturday). So does this mean I will get it later today or Monday (Which I won't be home to get..).

The Tracking Website said that it would come today but I'm not sure anymore.

Can anyone help me?

Normally FedEx Ground Service delivers by noon on Saturdays.  There is a difference between FedEx and FedEx Ground and whenever I track an incoming package, if they are not delivering it and leaving it at our home...I will call and arrange the 800 toll free number and have them HOLD the package.  I have even went there late at night before they close at 7 or 8 PM to personally pickup my incoming package of value at the respective FedEx Ground, FedEx, DHL and UPS locations.  Of course, it would help if you know exactly where all the respective centers are located bec they are very easy to work with but normally follow procedures.  In fact if I were in your shoes, I would certainly call them right now and arrange for a pickup early Monday morning, bec the agony and maybe expense if your package is returned to the Sender can be a headache and yes it happen before to us when I bought something for our oldest son who lives in Europe and his mother-in-law who was visiting Florida failed to stick around or pick up the package so it was sent back.

They will only deliver on Saturday if you paid for Saturday delivery. If not, you will received it by Monday. As long as you are not required to sign for it they will leave the package.
