Ford Motors and General Motors are expected to ask for a fifty billion dollar bail out . . . Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are a breath away from being nationalized . . . these are all publicly traded companies . . . why can't the government invest in the stock as opposed to offering zero interest loans? Does anyone know?

  1. WHY SHOULD THE GOVT. BAIL OUT THESE AIRLINES AND CAR CO.'S BECAUSE THEY MADE BAD FINANCIAL DECISIONS. wHAT EVER HAPPENED TO FREE ENTERPRISE? these companies squander billions of dollars on stupid decisions like selling giant suv's instead of giving the consumer somthing they want like smaller autos.

Alot of businesses are going down the tubes, how come they don't bail them out?

  2. .  Not a good idea to invest in the company stock. If the business were closed or nationalized, the stocks are wiped out.

  3. Pretty funny.  Let's bail out a car company because it is in trouble due to the gouging of big oil, which we refuse to investigate or call it the monopoly that it is.
