Where do the inmates go after they are released from serving their time?

Do sick inmates go to prison hospitals?

1. Anywhere they want, if they're not on parole.

2. Sick prisoners only go to prison hospitals while they are serving their sentences.  After that, they are on their own for medical care.  They might be eligible for medicaid or welfare if they're too sick to work.
