I'm trying to find the specific law(s) concerning what legally constitutes "organic" agriculture, including the law that states that a grower must be USDA-certified as "organic" to legally sell more than $5,000 worth of products in a given year. Does anyone know the U.S. Code sections and paragraphs on laws concerning organic growing and/or selling of organic products?

  1. These laws change all the time, due to the powerful lobbiest.  More and more not so organic things are being allowed on commercial "organic" crops.

    Here's the link you need:

Every crop is different, and has different requirements to be labled organic.  It's going to be a lot of research on your end.
