Federalist Papers #10 & #51?

I've read both of these as an AP summer assignment and was advised I should be prepared for some class discussion. I've already heard about the "one bad apple spoils the barrel" debate, but I was wondering what stood out to those of you who have read them. Questions that developed after reading them, disagreements with a claim, things like that would really help. And no, I'm not one of these kids that is too lazy to do her homework, this is just my own preparation for class. Thanks and can't wait to hear what everyone has to say!

  1. They primarily advocate for a Hobbesian Leviathan rather than a Lockean government which stress individual rights of freedom and private property.

Hamilton who advocated for a strong federal government also wrote the Federalist paper #84 which opposes the Bill of Rights.

Jefferson, who advocated a small and limited federal government, was at odds with a Hamiltonian style government.  Not all the Founding Fathers agreed with the Federalists papers and spoke out against them, such as Patrick Henry, and others published the Anti-Federalist papers under various pseudonyms.
