Federer and nadal's score before winning nadal in monte-carlo was 6425 & 5455 but after that 6755 & 5655?

I mean why roger's score increases more than nadal's?

  1. Because the schedule this year is one week off from last year, due to the Olympics, so in addition to the Monte Carlo points both players earned this week (500 for Nadal and 350 for Federer), Nadal also lost his 200 Barcelona points from last year.  Federer didn't play the week of Barcelona last year, so he only gains points from Monte Carlo this year.  And by the way Federer's point total is now 6775, not 6755.  Confusing I know, but I hope this makes sense.


  2. Federer's points increased by 350 after Monte Carlo making it to 6775, while Nadal increased by 500 to 5955, but less 300 for Barcelona which he is still defending now, so it's 5655.   3. They shouldn't be affected at all since they both made the finals last year also and Nadal won last time as well.
