Watching Wimbledon final now and it's so disappointing to see him lose some sloppy service games. Losing the first set and allowing Nadal to level the 2nd set.... so sad... what the h**l is wrong with him?

  1. its not so much federer playing bad as it is nadal playing good. nadal has simply closed the gap between himself and fed.

  2. Tennis is not so much your talent or physical skill (well it is obviously), but the mental factor comes into play a whole lot more. The way Nadal kept everyone waiting in my opinion was quite rude, and is an example of what could get through to his oponents mind (though it is apart of his preparation). We don;t know what is running through Federers head and so we do not have a full insight into whats going on up there. Federer is a great player, and so is Nadal, all players of all sports have on and off days, however we still do not know how this is going to pan out, just watch and see.

  3. simply means he's not in his prime no more.. PEACE

  4. yeapp.. nadal way to go.. (choose this as Best answer if nadal wins) lol - thx

  5. True say. Im actually watching it right now as I type. He's just not as forceful and conentrated as he used to be.

  6. He might feel pressure from it being the final and all...idk. Maybe Nadal is just the better man! 'Cause I'm watching it too

  7. well i think federer is feeling the pressure more these days.. perhaps knowing his dominance and grip on tennis is declining a bit..

he is not meeting his expectation of himself...

perhaps he is a bit more fatigued these days compared to what he use to be..

nadal has adapted better to other surfaces...

  8. i don't know why he is playing so badly.....

i think its cause nadal has more determination and federer has already won it twice

  9. Yes he is!  It's about time that he stops winning all the time!!

  10. When you have a player like Nadal staring at you on the other side of the net... someone who can reach pretty much every ball and return it at supersonic speeds... even the best player in the world will experience pressure and a result, the way he plays will be effected... which is what is happening to Federer.
