Just saw the mens singles draw... If Federer makes it through Tursunov and his second round opponent, he could meet Ivo Karlovic in the third round! I'm worried... can he beat Karlovic this time around???

  1. IF he can beat Tursonov, and I have my serious doubts, then I think he'll take out Ivo. Ivo played super well the day he beat Fed and I can't see him repeating that. But lets not look to far ahead eh, in fact, I'm not looking past the 1st round.

EDIT: Stop worrying, Ivo has withdrawn due to injury. for confirmation check out atptennis.com

Once Rog gets past first round it looks pretty ok for him. God I hope he can beat Tursonov!

  2. Well, now that he's definitely lost the #1 spot i suppose that he's a little bit less stressed. And he's a great player (psh, no doubt about that) and he's beat Karlovic lots of times in the past.

    He can.

    I hope he does, anyway.

  3. Karlovic will let him off the hook. He'd feel too much pressure to do it again

  4. Roger can beat Karlovic. He just has to return well.

  5. i am sure he will beat him

  6. Perhaps. But who knows, im sure Roger would come through.

  7. i think he will.-

i mean, the guy still is 6-1 against karlovic, and the olympics it's a tottally different scene.-

i think fed will go far ahead in the draw.-

  8. Yes, I believe he will. As he has always taken Olympics as a big issue, he's more motivated by it.

I sincerely wish that Roger would win!
