The Azzurri international has stressed on the options he is considering for the future by short listing Paris Saint-Germain and Palermo as his future destinations.
The Palermo left-back has been linked to several clubs following his impressive form for Palermo last season and his endeavours for the national side in the European Championships in 2012. Balzaretti showed the balance he possessed

The 30-year-old has been linked with moves to AC Milan and Napoli for the next campaign. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Maggio-c9098 as their right-back, and they wanted to unite the two Italian national full-backs and to bring the same attacking
flair they bring for Italy.
Despite Napoli’s efforts, Balzaretti has stated that he is not looking to go to any other club in Italy besides his current employers, Palermo. The defender was honest about his ambitions and stated that he had conveyed his thoughts
to the President of the club. He ruled out all other possibilities, by stating:
“I’ve already spoken to the President and told him of my priorities. I’ll either stay at Palermo or move to Paris Saint-Germain – there are no other solutions.”
The Rosanero full-back was talking to the Corriere dello Sport and during his interview, he went on to comment on the national side’s performance in the final of the tournament.

Balzaretti went on to state that Cesare Prandelli was very supportive of the team and congratulated them on their performances throughout the tournament, including the final. He did concede that they were tired during the final,
and commented:
“Reaching the Final was an important achievement. Unfortunately, we were very tired by the time we got there after playing so many games within a short space of time.”
Balzaretti’s future is still up in the air, and with the transfer window having opened on the 1st of July, one will have to wait and see what the future holds.
