I need help with describing and writing a scene for a story..I want to describe a ex couple who have just had a recent intimate encounter and are slightly embarassed afterwards. Somehow they have managed to avoid seeing each other for the past three days.

The male character seeks out the female character and asks her to talk. Both characters have no intentions of getting back together due to their complicated history, yet they want to maintain a solid friendship. I really want to pick up on the emotions from both of the characters. Possibly hesitant, slight longing, nervousness, character actions. Please help if you can! Ideas examples and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sarah looks up at him hesitantly , but nods. They walk.

fragile-friendship.

Outside her office, Simon makes the first repost,

''I phoned you'', but before he can talk any further,

Sarah says, ''Since Sunday we have not talked!''

''Yes-s?'', said Simon somewhat perplexed.
