My daughter and I are thinking about getting a fire bellied newt. I haven't had one in my house since I was about 8 (I am now 31) and can not remember what they eat and what type of schedule they eat on.

Any information is appreciated as I would like to get as much knowledge as possible before buying one.

Thanks.
