  1. Just regular kibble cat food would be fine...I worked at a pet food store and we used to use that once in a while for the crickets we sold.

  2. Cat food is okay but is is probably not the healthiest thing to gut load with. Would you feed cat food to your animal

(you are what you eat)? If you want to get picky, vitamin rich veggies like collards, carrots, etc would be BEST, but cat food is fine.

  3. you have crickets as pets?

  4. yes cat food will work.  ive also heard that crickets eat potatoes.

  5. Melanie, they are for her reptiles to eat. You have to gut load them before you feed them to your herp. Yes, cat food is alright. You can also try Flukers dry cricket feed. It works great.

  6. you can use wet or dry cat food but to gut load them for your herps there is actually a recipe i cant remember what site it is but you mix the cat food with honey and some vitamins like d3 and some other things and that works really well also some pet stores have a gut load blend its green and specifically for gut loading crickets kinda pricey but until you get the recipe.
