Last night i was trying to reverse out of a tight parking spot at around 1.30am. It was dark and I couldn't really see well. I ended up backing into another car and driving off! I feel so bad for not getting out and seeing whether i did any damage but I panicked!

Should I have left a note? It's been playing on my mind all day.

  1. You need to go see if someone reported it and pay up to them.

  2. I'm sure you already know the answere for this one.

  3. fess up now that is illegal called a hit and run your guilt is telling you that your right

  4. i thought it was a felony to leave the scene of an accident.

  5. You should have left a note. Now somebody is going to come home to see $1000 worth of damage to their car now.

  6. yes you should have,it was my car so can you pay for the damage please

  7. Have a look at the car when you see it next time, if theres no damage on it well and good, if there is damage who,s to say it didnt happen after you hit it, look put it down to experience im a driver meself but if i knew someone had hit me car and drove off i wouldnt be happy, if someone hit your car im sure you,d be the same, it might be too late to do something about it now, if it is playing on your mind well then maybe call over to the person and say it to them, lol.

  8. ooops! I know from experience I was really p1ssed off when someone scraped my car and drove off without owning up!

If anyone saw you could be in trouble, if no-one saw, I would say you got away with it this time but it could  be time to invest in a rear parking centre!!!

    xx

  9. No. C'est la vie.

  10. If I were you I would do my best and contact the person some way before this is turned into a hit and run if it has not already been done.

With a hit and run you will be arrested and you could lose your license and face possible jail time.

  11. If the other car is damaged someone will have to pay for the repairs, if the owner claims off their insurance, their premium will go up next time. You caused the damage, YOU are responsible, own up, be an adult.

I have NEVER bumped or dinged another vehicle, if I did, I am an honest person and would own up.

  12. look at it this way.....how would you have felt if you went out to your car this morning and it had a dent or scratches on it ?

  13. NO.because if they hit you, then they would have driven off.100s of these incidents and its par for the course so don't heap trouble on yourself with the other owners and insurance companies.Forget it its not a big deal

  14. Hmm honestly pays hun!  Lets just hope no-one had any cctv cameras on.
