Question:

Feeling depressed, any quick fixes?

Okay this is not long term depression.

I was supposed to get a job this summer, got nervous and only sent out 1 resume, and kinda messed up on the interview. So I spent the whole summer not accomplishing anything.

I don't do well in sports, but make great grades 88% average. Identified gifted.

I'm 16 and the olympics bugged me the most, seeing how awesome some other kids my age out there are (as some of you know many 16 year old athletes.

I feel like I haven't accomplished much.

I feel great when learning tho.

How should I fix this, or what type of things should I try to learn thats productive?

  1. You'e young and have much to offer the world stay positive and learn to laugh and enjoy the laughter.  Live in the now and enjoy the life you live. You only live once have fun and make it good!


  2. ALWAYS HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!! No matter what the problems you have. Don't hang out with people who will discourage you. Think of things with a positive point of view. ^_^ Hope that kinda helps.

  3. turn on some music and dance, dance, dance. also, go make out some more resumes in the morning and send them out or have ready for next summer. you are young enjoy youth

  4. not everyone is perfect..yeah right. haha just kiddin. your still young, youll accomplish a lot of things in time probably its not just your time yet.. and oh dont forget there's always next time okay.. no need to worry to much..you probably havnt preactice that much yet. so just keep on workin.

  5. Eat some chocolate. It makes you feel very happy.

    Second, start planning for the future. Most kids that are 16 are not in the Olympics or doing anything major like that. So, don't rush yourself, you still have time to accomplish big things! If you really want to be doing something, then find something that you're really passionate about something and put a lot of effort into it.

    It's pretty cool that you think about things like that.
