  1. Please Don,t get apprehensive about your diet your size weight sound ok keep it up

  2. of course it is most people feel the same way okay

  3. I know it can feel like you're fat even when you're really not, especially when you are feeling bloated. Unfortunately that is normal for most of us! There are so many super skinny girls on TV and in magazines! You really are at a healthy weight. I'm giving you a link to a BMI calculator, so you can see that you are in a normal range.

  4. yea its normal i feel like this all the time

  5. Sadly it is normal.  I don't really have any advice for you except that you need to be happy with who you are.  5'5 and 130 is perfectly fine.  I see a lot of girls who feel the way that you do and the majority are gorgeous!  Just stop thinking so much and seriously, find happiness in who you are.

  6. I sometimes have the same feeling. I'm 5' 3" and 127lbs. I think that you shouldn't feel guilty for eating. If you actually think about it, you have to eat to survive. I know that sounds stupid, but really it's the truth. If you feel that way for eating something healthy, you must be doing something wrong. Maybe your eating too many boxes of Lean Cusine or something like that. Have the serving that it recommends. I know I don't eat very healthy and too much of somethings. Sometimes I eat a whole box of mac and cheese! But when I do eat the right about of something, I reward myself. You sould try too. Maybe, instead of feeling guilty for eating, praise yourself for eating something good and right. =]

  7. Hi there,

I once felt the same about food, that is to say, I felt guilty after eating. I was overweight at the time, but that really had nothing to do with fact that that I felt guilty, except that by being told of my overweight I connected eating to something bad, that it was the cause of my overweight.

That your weight is perfectly normal is not the question. The question is why you feel guilty? If you feel guilty after eating, it means that you have labeled what you are doing as "bad".  A lot of people probably feel the same way you do, the question is if you find this guilt overbearing, and if it can lead into something more serious, like an eating disorder for instance. It most definitely has nothing to do with the food in itself or your weight, but you've probably connected eating to something bad.

You need to connect food to something good again, for instance you can read up on what happens if you don't eat, learn the negative things that comes from not eating. I, for instance, read up on the symptoms of anorexia, not that I had stopped eating, or felt like I was on my way to do so, but because I wanted to know what would happen if I did. The answer is not pretty.

Food is necessary for our survival, and the more you learn about the positive things that comes from eating, and the more you try to think of eating as a good thing, the less guilty you'll feel, at least that's what happened to me.

I hope this aswer has given you some thoughts on how to manage your guilt, if not feel free to contact me.

  8. You shouldn't feel guilty about eating healthy foods. Even if you're spoiling yourself with ice cream once in a while, don't be too hard on yourself. It's better to eat than to starve yourself just so you can look thin. Your iron level can go down very low and create kidney complications and become Anemia. So eat! If you want to know if your height coincides with your body weight, just google a BMI Calculator. Hope this helps.

  9. It's not a healthy mindset.  I know, I've been.  Once 5'6" 120lbs and I felt guilty for putting a single piece of food in my mouth.  It got to be an obsession, life sucked -- I say this to warn you, don't underestimate the damage that can come.  Maybe to scare I'll tell you that no, I never became sickly thin, instead things went the other way -- after a long time of strict dieting i started binging and gained way too much weight.  It's just a mess, it started small and then my whole world became controlled by eating and "fat" and this is a mess it's taking me years to get out of.  YEARS.

At 5'5" 130lbs you look fabulous.  So you have no reason at all to even be thinking about it.  Just think positively, in a healthy mindset.  Make sure you have fun being active, and enjoy food.  Over and under eating come when we let food (how much we eat, how much we don't eat) take too much of our thoughts and thus control us.  We usually aren't even aware of it at the time.

I want to encourage you to seek help, talk to someone.  Maybe a psychologist. Make things better as soon as you can, you don't want this to grow.  Aside from talking with someone, you need to talk to yourself positively -- whether you feel like it or not, when you see yourself in the mirror remind yourself that you look HOT.  Give yourself specific compliments everyday.  Consciously push away negative thoughts, what good do they do you?  Do they change anything?  Or just waste your time?  Remember, ACTIONS come before FEELINGS.  Meaning, if you pretend like it long enough, you'll actually start to feel like it.
