Hi, I need some help. I'm concerned about my friend. We went to have lunch on Tuesday, about 3pm. Everything was going smooth, until I dropped off my friend at his house. He suddenly

started complaining his stomach and ribs were hurting. He took some medicine, and took a nap. The next thing I knew, he called me he couldn't breathe. He ended up going to the emergency room, and they told him it was food poison. It was about 12:30 am. The doctor's gave him medicine, and he's been taking them. It's now Thursday, and he's still feeling bad. Now, he feels light-headed, dizzy, cold, and weaker by the minute. What could be wrong? Please help, I'm scared and worried. Thank you and God bless.

P.S.-I know a doctor would know best, but I want to hear some opinions.

:D

  1. It could be that your friend is showing side effects to the medicine the doctor prescribed.  Your friend has to visit the doctor once again, so that he prescribes a different medicine or lowers the dosage of the medicine.

Also, one thing that we take for granted when doctors prescribe something, especially when talking about antibiotics.  The doctor may tell you that you should avoid exposing yourself to direct sunlight.

Direct sunlight could affect you, it could cause the same symptoms your friend is showing.

Just ask your friend to pay a second visit to the doctor, or at least make a phone call.

I hope this helps a bit.

    Take care, and God Bless!!
