  1. Ginger biscuits weren't strong enough for me either. Try fresh root ginger, cut it into small bits and put it in a cup with boiling water on it. Let it brew a bit, add a bit of honey to sweeten. It's really strong and spicy but it helped plenty for me.

  2. Anything citrus helps curb nausea. I ate the heck out of oranges my entire first trimester and I never threw up once. Now I can't stand them though ;-) I didn't even realize that was probably why I never had morning sickness until I read that info on www.webmd.com about it.

  3. I had terrible morning sickness both of my pregnancies.  I puked so hard and so bad on my 1st one that my gum was inflamed and caused my wisdom tooth to act up.  Had to go get tooth surgery while having morning sickness.  It was not fun.

On my 2nd pregnancy I got sick since the 3rd week, and continue to get sick the whole entire 9 months.

I think every woman reacts differently on morning sickness. Some thing that cures a woman may not work for another.

Try boiling fresh ginger for 5 minutes and drink the warm ginger flavored liquid. The stronger the ginger, the better.

The heat in pepper helps. It made me feel better. It has to be fresh peppers though like finger hot peppers. Doesn't mean that you have to eat them raw. Maybe chop them finely and make a salad dressing out of it. Make your food a little tangy.

Don't eat anything too acidic like juice (my ob doc said, "No juice for you!")

I got extremely sick when I ate meat, especially pork. Later on I found an article in a health magazine saying meat (pork in particular) can cause morning sickness because of the high level of bacteria. It's the mother's natural body defense to prevent food poisoning.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  4. None of those "home remedies" (ginger / mints, etc) worked for me either.  I got pretty sick and tired of people telling me about their special trick for helping with morning sickness when nothing worked.

There are anti-nausea medications now on the market that are safe for you to use during pregnancy.  That was the only thing that helped me through it.  Ask your doctor / pharmacist for medication.

Hang in there, it will be over soon.

  5. go and see the doctor. some times you can get chronic sickness when pregnant and this will make you ill.

if you feel terrible but are not too bad then see ho you feel after 12 weeks, it should calm down then

  6. go see a doctor than. wouldnt that make sense?
