  1. Im 25 years old and 205 pounds, 3 kids, and a stay at home mom as well!!! I have the worst self esteem ever ... and hate my body!!! I have stretch marks from my b***s, all the way down to my pubic bone... I hate it!!! I also suffer from post partum depression that doesnt help things either!!!

I try to think good thoughts, that my body got this way from growing 3 beautiful babies ...

I know exactly how you feel ... and I don't know how to feel better about myself ... so lol Im not sure how to answer your question :-(

Answer my question if you feel up to it :-)

  2. Join Weight Watchers -- it's awesome!

You can even join if you're breast feeding.

    It's only $12 a week.

You pay when you go .. you don't even have to sign a contract.

You'll lose all the weight you want!

You don't have to buy any special food, you can eat whatever you want in smaller portions ..

  3. I know how you feel.. I felt like that after having my son and still do some days. There is nothing anyone can say or do to make you feel any better, you need to find something that make you feel pretty. I went and got my hair cut and got a massage on a weekend and spent the day by myself (left bubby at home with Daddy) and did things that made me feel pretty.

Dont stress if you dont get the house work done its not the end of the world. you have three children 4 if you include your husband. you need to rest at time and can get to you. If you keep feeling like it, see if joining a gym for a mothers group or even speaking to a councilor might help. I talk to my sister when things get really tough because my partner just doesn't understand. I am now lighter (not by dieting) then what I was when I fell pregnant with my son but I don't feel any prettier. I hope you can find something that makes you feel pretty.

  4. Unfortunately society has de-valued stay-at-home moms. If you are not working six jobs, volunteering at church and school, maintaining an imaculate house, & cooking gourmet meals every night, you must be lazy. I think running yourself ragged the way most people do is crazy. Kudos to you for staying home with your babies. You are not lazy. As long as everybody is fed and clean, don't sweat it.

If you want to get in better shape though, try to find an old Tony Little work-out tape. He has some wonderful videos. They have beginner on them and he shows you how to modify the excercises so just about anybody can do them (don't forget to check with your dr.). Best of all, he is so encouraging. He tells you how beautiful you are and how great you are. It is very uplifting.

  5. I've been struggling with weight loss for years..I've found that just cutting out, or rather switching small things in your diet helps alot..

For example: I used to drink regular pop, now I only drink diet and have lost 40lbs in one year without changing anything else, no workout nothing...

Talk to your husband too, perhaps your self esteem issues could be helped by some good old fashioned comforting..

You shouldn't feel gross about your body though, it produced 3 wonderful children :) Keep that in mind, and good luck!

  6. try getting a walking buddy and eat more antioxidants in your diet, things like blueberries, dark cocoa, tomatos, avocados, spinach and drink drinks with acai berry in it. Take time for yourself 2 or 3 days a week go for a walk, go home take a bath and read a book.

Antioxidants scavange free radicals in your body thus giving you naturally more energy, your skin will look like it clears its self out, and your brain is more naturally pumped with vitamins rather than sugars and coffees. Drink lots more water and get your head out of negative thoughts, youll do just fine.

  7. I feel the same way sometimes. But I'm not even 208 pounds.the only difference is I only have one child and a full time job.I don't want to be mean but maybe you are a little lazy.I know you have 3 kids,i only have one and want to pull my hair out sometimes.Maybe you should talk to your husband about it.Or if you have a family member who can watch them for a couple of hours a day,go to the gym.The only reason I don't go to the gym is because I have a treadmill and an ab lounge. But they sit in my daughters room because we have a tiny apartment. But once we have a bigger place I will be on them daily. You can also try that weight loss pill Alli. You do have to exercise with it but i don't think you have to work as hard to lose the weight.
