Feelings for my cousin...?

Ok. So i know i'm going to be made fun of for this, but I have a serious problem that I need help with. I'm a 16 year old guy, and I've been spending a lot of time hanging out with my 17 year old female cousin. Technically, she is my cousin's cousin. We're related by blood, but only barely. I think I'm starting to fall in love with her. Should I ignore my feelings, or should i take a chance and tell her how I feel?

I would give yourself some serious TIME!! You are 16 you have some raging hormones, I would not act on that kind of impluse. That could really s***w up some family dynamics. I am not doubting that you have feelings for her, but you could mixing that up with some other emotions you may be feeling. I wouldn't be jumping the gun on that one

If she is your cousin's cousin, then she is NO relation to you. However, you will s***w up the family get togethers, especially if you two date then break up. Just have fun and enjoy being with her.

You should really not tell her, but most of us all think a cousin of ours kinda cute or we think we are falling in love with them when we really aren't. (I haven't experienced this though) I think you should just take a step back and ask for a day off from her presents to sort your feeling, and maybe you'll feel okay enough to just go hang with her again, I mean there is nothing wrong with that, nothing is wrong with you. Your just experiencing your hormones!! :D

I say take the chance, you only live once and she could be your soul mate. I am in the same situation only i am 15 and he is 14. I cant wait to see him and then tell him how i feel.I think he feels the same but its taboo because i live in the usa as does he and yeah. But honestly other cultures marry cousins go to cousincouples.com for statistics but there are others and its ok just ignore the people who are either jerks or ignorant its your life live it as you see fit. what ever you do, remember is a phase. Everyone goes to a similar event. You'll get over it. Spend more time with girl friends. And you'll see you did not like her that much.
