  1. there may be something there that is too small for you to see. If all your efforts to find and remove it fail, your eye will probably be able to move it to the corner of your eye while you're sleeping, and cover it in crust. Then you'll be able to remove it the next morning.

  2. Probably a sty!! a little eye wash may help to relieve it! It should only be around for a day or two!!then it goes away -if not then eye doctor time!!!!!!!

  3. Does it feel like a sharp pain like a cut kind of?? then it's probably an eyelash. I know how frustrating it is when you cant get it out but downt worry about it because when you sleep it gets moved to the corner of your eye causing and "eye booger" or "sand" like the crusty stuff. I wouln't worry too much. The reason why it only hurts when you close your eye is because you are putting pressure on it.

  4. Go to the pharmacy and purchase Thera Tears. It's one of the best eye lubricants and is great for this kind of condition. If it doesn't clear up, I would see an ophthalmologist to see if you have a scratched cornea. (That isn't too likely unless you wear hard contacts with very little lubrication in your eyes or something similar to that condition.)

  5. You might have pink eye. Alot of times when you feel theres something in your eye and theres not...its conjuctivitis. Keep an eye on it and if u have pus coming out later then that what it is.

  6. If it persists for more than a couple days, just go have it checked out.

My little sister's eye hurt so my mom took her to Emerg to have it checked out. It's worth the hour or two our of your day to make sure it's nothing too serious.
