i have to do a feet first surface dive to 17 feet deep and get a dive brick in a dive tank for work. i think i can do it. we have to go most of the way feet first and then we can flip over and swim the rest of the way down. the only thing is the water is 60 degress farenheight and i have to wear an earplug in one of my ears. would going down that far mess my ear up with having an ear plug in? how do i clear my ears? what does that do?

  1. Pop your ears as you're going down. It might hurt overall a bit, but just deal with it. Make sure you know what 60 degree water feels like before you go in and do it so that you don't go into shock. The earplug shouldn't be too much of a problem.
