Returning home

I wonder where they are.

In the living room

my pride of two

on the loveseat,

lazy and serene,

look at each other,

then at me, then

at furniture

festooned with toilet paper.

Gracie says

“George did it”

Georgie says

“did not”

It's that being left alone feeling - shredding.  My dog always nailed the newspaper - when I used to leave her alone. Come home - and wall to wall confetti. ♥

I am in hysterics!  Whoopee is 8 now, but she did the same thing when she was a kitten.  Doc was angry, but I couldn't stop laughing.  Finally, he got the joke and we both spent the next few hours discovering pieces of the stuff all over the house.

Leon and Felix are restrained, mostly. Plastic is there thing. I also grow pots full of oats on the back patio. They can crouch in there and pretend then are on the Serengeti...Nice poem, also...

prove it! I had a cat that did not do it my kid did it and blamed the cat. I found out years later he was actually just bored and shredded up a box of tissue while I was in the garden.  He was like five. old enough for a good smack and he knew that I would not smack the cat.
