Reports suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Felipe-Melo-c13535, on loan to Galatasaray, could return back to his home club following the end of his loan tenure at the end of the season. The Istanbul giants are hesitant to pay the Bianconeri’s asking price for
the player included in the loan contract.
The Brazilian joined the Turkish outfit on a loan deal for one season, and the club has the option in the loan contract to acquire the services of the player permanently on the payment of €13 million.
However, the reason behind the expected refusal will not be the talent’s lack of performance with the team. The Galatasaray manager is reportedly happy with the way the midfielder has turned out at the club, and has consequently
given his thumbs up to the club management to transfer the player on permanent basis.
A final decision on the player is yet to be made by Galatasaray, but if the Istanbul outfit refuse the transfer, the main reason will be the price and salaries of the Brazilian, that can bring the financial managers at the Turkish
establishment under a lot of pressure.
Either decision by the Istanbul side will have positive consequences at home for the Bianconeri. The returning midfielder will serve to strengthen Juventus’s squad which is under strong challenge from AC Milan, and is expected
to remain so in the next season as well.
On the other hand, if Galatasaray finalize the deal to purchase the player, the money remitted to the Old Lady will give the club financial leverage in the anticipated shopping to strengthen the squad in the summer transfer window.
Moreover, in case of the return, the Bianconeri playmaker can be put up for sale in order to generate funds for the above mentioned cause.
Juventus have been widely recommended by many pundits to strengthen their squad over the summer transfer window, as they need some more star power to surpass the star studded AC Milan in the race for Serie A supremacy.
