  1. I believe we got the bank when we acquire Felix. Our starters superb but the back ups and special teams scared the h**l out of me. Don 't know how you felt but I thought dude what are you doing ? I know some of it was nervousness but they got their work cut out for them. And anyone that sits on their butts and judge the entire team for the rookies mistakes don't know football. They have a short time to get their act together in order to remain on a winning team or hit the door. And the game I watched was not our starters missing tackles which led to two touchdowns. Was a little disappointed in Pac. and getting tired of hearing I have been off for a year. you have been practicing long enough now to be able to hold on to your guy.  Pats Colts lost does that mean they are going to sorry this season. Now now haters its practicing for the rookies don't start judging Dallas because they lost. Without judging your bomb teams that also lost. *******************************

  2. The Cowboys starters played the first series, and they looked great at them. D had a three and out of one of the best O's in football. Chargers leave their starters in for 4 series, i mean come on its obvious who will be winning at half time. Felix Jones is great, and will be a stud in the NFL, he is miles ahead of Mcfadden (said it since college) and it will finally show this season.

  3. He may not be the greatest or get the franchise tag, but definitely has potential to be top-tier.

  4. He should be a good change of pace back to complement Marion the Barbarian. Anyways, if you like the Cowboys and have HBO, see if you can find Hard Knocks, which is all about the Cowboys.

  5. With pre-season the most you can really look at is the score at half time, and 24-10 doesnt impress me too much for the cowboys. They havent won a play-off game with Romo and people act as though he is something special but what matters is play-offs and super bowl wins, if you think that is not true ask a Patriot fan !

  6. he's a good player but his trade value went down cause he playing for da cowboys just like every other cowboy

  7. He showed some flashes, but also made a lot of rookie mistakes (missing blitz pick-ups, running wrong play, missing audible)

He will be a nice role player, but just because he was a first round draft pick dont be upset if he is never a "superstar player" or franchise type back. He will be a nice piece to a lot larger puzzle.

  8. Felix Jones looked good. Very good. I can't wait to see him get an opportunity with the starting offense!

What made me laugh is the first answer here. The Cowboys regulars only played one series! He thinks Dallas will suck because they lost a preseason game? In the '90's, the Cowboys never won preseason games; but instead they were winning Super Bowls.

All that matters is the starters play well. And they did.

  9. You know what, Jerry Jones has turned this club into another dynasty powerhouse!  Felix was unbelievable!  He was exactly what we need to compliment Marion Barber.

And of course, the refs were laying for us, as always.  Special teams were almost ALL rookies... they were all fighting for spots.  IMHO.

Oh, and my biggest fear is that we make it to the big show and the refs make sure we don't win...it could happen... Goodell hates us...

  10. First team on both sides looked great as did Felix Jones it looks like there is a lot of potential there.
