The Munich based club won the precious treble last term as they secured the Bundesliga, German Cup and UEFA Champions League titles. They hired Pep Guardiola as their new manager in the summer and are favourites to win the two domestic titles again next
season.
Magath stated that he is certain that Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga next season also. He stated that the team has a very strong squad and that the side has made impressive signings in the summer also. The Bavarians have signed the likes of Mario

However, the former Bayern manager added that this is not better for the league’s future as there should be competition between the teams. He stressed that this situation is also not good for Bayern Munich as they will be the most dominant side in the league
by a big margin.
“I'm convinced Bayern Munich will win the German championship. I don't think any team will be able to compete with them, from my point of view, the first place is taken already. Bayern probably won't lose a single match, an end of their dominance is not
in sight. In the long run, that's unhealthy for the league and even for Bayern,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Magath criticised Mario Gotze for moving to Bayern Munich in the summer. He claimed that the midfielder should have shown some loyalty to the club that made him instead of joining the rivals.
“I don't understand how someone can give back so little to the club that raised him as a footballer,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich will be competing against Borussia Dortmund for the title next term and the Reds will surely be the favourites to win.
