Former Schalke manager and current Wolfsburg tactician, Felix Magath, has revealed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Gonzalez is the best foreign trade made by any side in the Bundesliga. He was talking in the wake on his side’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen
in the last game which has left them with a chance of qualifying for Europe next season.
Magath showed his delight at this win and, at the same time, reserved praise for Raul who has spent two glorious years at Schalke so far. The former tactician is responsible for the Spaniard’s inclusion in the Bundesliga after
he recruited him two years back from Real Madrid.
The manager mentioned that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 international is one step higher then Bayern Munich’s duo of Ribery and Robben. He claimed that Raul possesses special talent which even the two attackers do not have despite being considered
amongst the world top players.
While talking to SID, the 58-year-old German further added:
"We have never seen a better foreigner in the Bundesliga in my opinion. Even if you compare him to players like Robben and Ribery, he's on another level. He is one of the few players who is aware of everything that's happening
around him. That's why he doesn't really need pace, because he's always one step ahead of his opponent.”
Magath also credited himself for bringing Raul to Germany at the age of 32 when he had already seen his prime after spending more than a decade with Los Blancos. He echoed that bringing the Spaniard to the country is one of his
best achievements and feels proud to have taken this step despite the attacker’s ageing legs.
"Luring Raul to the Bundesliga is one of the highlights of my career," Magath concluded.
Raul has so far scored 15 league goals this season including the one in his last home game for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536 on Saturday, April 28. His goal in the 84th minute assured his side a place in the
Champions League football next term. The striker will leave the Gelsenkirchen outfit by the end of this campaign possibly in favour of the Major League Soccer.
