http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 hopes to achieve Champions League football with Everton next season and is confident that they will finish in the top 4 if they keep up their performances.
The Belgian star has been in fine form this season, and has been one of the Toffees’ stand-out players. It is no secret that the player is eager to play in the Champions League, and has publicly stated that he’ll only move away from Goodison Park in search
for Champions League football.
However, the player insists that he will stay back if Everton can qualify for the elite European competition. The Belgian revealed that he is eager to help his side finish in the top 4, and sees no reason why Everton should settle for anything less than
that.
The Toffees managed an impressive last gasp 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend and moved to 4th at their expense. The Merseyside club scored two quick goals in stoppage time to cancel out Clint Dempsey’s opener, and clinched a well
deserved and hard fought victory.
Two goals from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nikica-Jelavic-c27906 gave the home side the victory, and moved them up in the top 4, level on points with Tottenham but ahead on goal difference.
Fellaini has been a key player for the side, and was instrumental in the victory. The Belgian powerhouse was almost unplayable at times, and with 4 league goals to his name last month, he remains a major player for Everton. The midfielder won the Premier
League’s best player of the month award for
November and has become a highly coveted midfielder in the past few seasons.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Belgian spoke about his Champions League aspirations and said:
“Everybody wants to play Champions League next season. So we work hard for this and hopefully we can finish in the top four.”
“At the moment I am playing well. I am happy – but the most important things are the team and the club. I try to give my maximum in every game. The manager likes it when I play in attack. I’ve been scoring the goals and I work hard on the pitch.”
