Guy's and gals, this mayhem has to stop. Please wake up to what they are planning and what they have already started.

If you care for your freedom and for the constitution why are you all so blind.

Many of my other awnsers have been of the light hearted nature but this is a genuine cry to all our brothers and sisters.

  1. soon I should think...the more repressive they get the more people will start to push back.

  2. You should worry - we've got Mr. Brown in England  - and he's not even English!!

  3. Um never because we have a Representative Democracy not a Direct Democracy.

  4. A lot of people don't know what's going on because the (controlled) media doesn't tell them! They want Americans to be distracted with American Idol etc so the real important stuff goes unnoticed...

  5. Their weapon of choice is dependency on the Government. The more different interest groups ask for, the more the govt. is able to control the lives of its citizens.

  6. I do not feel oppressed by my government. However, our government is set up to prevent a coup.  There are laws and checks and balances in place in the name of preventing terrorism that will keep us from over throwing the government should we decide that we wanted to.  So, as for me, I will sit here and live my life as I always have.

  7. What are "they" planning, and what have "they" started?  And who exactly are "they?"  What do you think is "draconian" about the government?

  8. wen a big disaster happens like 9/11 or a volcano

  9. While I won't simply say that Barack Obama will do exactly what you ask...... it is more possible for that to occur with Obama in the White House than McCain.

    Consider the fact that many of our problems are more prevailent since the Republican take over of the Congress in 1994...... I blame more the corporate money that bought those Republicans..... and there is no doubt that several Democrats that are just as corrupt.

    Our best hope is to keep Obama's feet to the fire in what we all want...... a complete reversal of the damage done to this country the last 28 years!

    For what its worth..... I'm more interested in saving the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th amendment than I am the 2nd (but this particular amendment will not be going anywhere anytime soon, even under a president Obama and a Democratic Congress..... so relax)

    Ivor Hugh....... I have been to both of those sites....very informative. Also try: Crooks and Liars

    For those that deny they have lost their rights...... try here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/apr...

  10. Learn to spell first.

  11. I do not look to the government to run my life for me.  What they do in Washington has very little that affects me.

  12. If you think it's bad in America, then maybe you should try moving to Zimbabwe, because there you would really have something to complain about.

    Mugabe is like a Hitler clone, say anything against him and you tend to disappear. It's so bad over there that the opposition leader has pulled out of the Presidential elections in the hope that it will stop the violent bloodshed that is being carried out in the Government, well president's name.

    Go try living there, at least in the States you have freedom of speech, open elections etc.

    I am sure quite a few people in some of the African nations would gladly swap you that for what they have, and coincidentally, what gives you the right to plan revolution, you could lose you head for that.

  13. I feel ya brother.

    I don't know why the sheep are putting up with this.  I mean I can understand taking a little longer to get on a plane after 9/11, but do we really have to give up basic human rights that have been a mainstay for civilized nations since the 12th century?  (Habeas corpus, for example.)

    Let's assume that terrorism is a problem.  How big of a problem is it really?

    Here's a hint...

    You're more likely to win a million dollars in the lottery than you are to be killed by a terrorist.

    I much more afraid of my fascist government, with their warrantless wiretapping, thought-crimes bills, and secret prisons than I am of terrorists living in a cave 6000 miles away.

    What does it take for people to wake up?  I don't know.  I voted for Bush both times, and I used to support him and the war... but then... well, he took away all my basic human rights, and there's only so much I can take.

    I voted for Ron Paul this time.  He's a true conservative and a great American.  Bush is a fascist, and his family is a crime ring.

    I'm crying out with you.  I just hope someone is listening.

    Vote your Congressman out of office if he/she voted for any of this draconian sh*t.  ALL OF YOU.

    Leah, you are the problem with our nation.  Just because these new changes to our rights hasn't affected you yet, it doesn't mean it won't in the future.  The Germans thought Hitler was a great man, too.  They were free... and they elected him.  He actually did a lot of good things for Germany, and they all looked up to him.  Then he enacted his "Enabling Act", which is similar to our "Patriot Act" and he used these new laws to imprison anyone he didn't approve of.  Most of the citizens just sat around while he gathered people up to take them to the camps.  They didn't say anything because it wasn't affecting them.

    "In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;

    And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;

    And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;

    And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up."

    Leah, are you going to remain silent while they take your neighbors away?  It's happening right now.

    Don't think so?  1 out of 100 people in this nation are incarcerated.  1 out of 31 is in jail or on probation.  We have more people in prison than China, and they have 5 times as many people and they are considered a totalitarian police state.

    Does this sound like freedom to you?

    P.S.  Did I mention that Bush's grandfather got brought up on charges for trading with the enemy in WWII?  That's right, Bush's granfather was a n**i-supporter during the war.  Google: Prescott Bush.

    In fact, 3 generations of Bush's have supported 3 generations of America's enemies...

    1.  Adolph Hitler

    2.  Sadaam Hussein

    3.  Osama Bin Laden

  14. We pretty much only have 2 choices:

    1) never vote Democrat or Republican again, only 3rd party. The big two have a death-grip on our government and always choosing between the lesser of two evils is no choice at all.

    2) armed rebellion. I really don't like this option since I have a wife and 2 babies to provide for. But at the current rate of government expansion, it may become necessary.

    I guess it all depends on who gets elected this year. If it's McCain then I"m willing to be patient and go with option 1. If it's Obama, then we may literally have to fight for our lives. Obama will be worse than Carter and will absolutely destory any semblance of freedom in America. There will be no choice but to engage in active rebellion.

  15. freedm what freedom ? we lost so many of our rights  only way to take it abck is to fight the goverment and they have bigger guns then we do !

    ADJECTIVE:

    Exceedingly harsh; very severe: a draconian legal code; draconian budget cuts

    Given the definition above, I don't see our government as draconian.  What is harsh or severe?  Our Congress has accomplished NOTHING in 2 years, and the President is a lame duck (the definition of lame duck is a President in the last year of his term with an opposing Congress - so he can't get anything done).

    What is so draconian about that?  I have not felt my rights infringed upon - We can still send our daughter to the school of our choice; we can still live where we choose; worship (or not) as we choose; speak out against our government or anything else in our society that we disapprove of; travel as we choose; belong to any social, religious or political organizations that we want to; shop and buy what we want; work in the industry of our choice in a job we are good at and enjoy; communicate with, VOTE and campaign for our elected leaders...

    Seriously, what is draconian about that?  Can anyone show me a specific instance of someone losing a specific right or freedom?  If so, my mind is open to consider what you are saying.
