  1. Man U fan here-

No offense, cos ur my second fav team, but lahm won't come to Villa..... he won't even be leaving Bayern to join other top teams.....

You should be trying to sign players like Sidwell, Wright Phillips and Finnan....

then when you've moved up a little you can attract bigger players.....

p.s.  Young and Gabbi are class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. no

  3. i support the mighty cov city so i hope aston villa burn in h**l!

  4. Yes but then again top players only like playing for top teams so good luck.

  5. to be honest I'm just happy that Barry might be staying now

  6. maybe

  7. of course he should

i don't know how he can say he is building a team to challenge the top 4 when he does not buy anyone ?

  8. To be honest yeah I am, the signings we have made are of players of an average ability such as Sidwell and Friedal and for a team who want ot push champions league spot next season we need to be signing top players not average ones.

Also we are in desperate need of a right back and right midfield and but for a slight intrest in bentley who doesnt look to be coming we havent made any bids or specualtions that we would like to sign a good right back/mid. Now boumas dislocated his leg or what ever he did we need a left back, and if barry goes we need a comanding top class centre midfield. I just dont understand us we have one if no the smallest team in the premier league yet we arent signing!!

  9. Jesus only had a squad of 12, but like O'Neill, he could walk on water.

  10. YES.......

  11. Martin O'Neill has proven himself on several rungs of the managerial ladder and finishing sixth in the league last season with such a small squad proves that he knows what he is doing.

On the transfer front, the lack of activity is a slight concern, however, I trust Martin O'Neill's instinct and his philosophy of not paying over the odds for players.

Of course we need to add to the squad, a left back and right back and necessitities, but with 18 days until we face manchester City, there is plenty of time for O'Neill to aquire them.
