Fellow Christians? Hypostatic Union?

Question

In regards to the hypostatic union (Jesus being both God and Man). Was Jesus man, before he came to earth? If yes, please list verses if no, list verses and what he was before he came to earth, in physical form.

Jesus obtained his human body and soul, and his physical form, from his mother, Mary.

Before that, and from eternity, he was pure spirit, just like his dad.

The totality of the scriptures is necessary to document all this.

I'm non-denominational.

I believe it was impossible for Him to be both man and flesh while in heaven with His Father before He came to earth.
